Your boys should have given him the friggen No Trade clause... a contract that big is untradable anyway.
How they did not know that would be an iussue until the day of the deadline is baffling.
As a mets fan who's lived through YEARS of inept management ruining the ballclub, look no further than there to wonder how that deal didnb't get done.
