MGS3, I rented it last night, the game SUCKS! I hated MGS2 because of all the boring dialogue/cutscenes/interruptions and not enough gameplay. This one is not any different. The game had potential, awesome graphics, nice setting, cool looking characters... but the gameplay sucks, its just way too boring to play.
You're moving around the forest with a top-down view and getting spotted/shot by enemies who are off screen!
The game doesn't make any sense at all...
I got to the first boss, and a cutscene starts... The boss was surrounded by 5 soldiers who all had their guns pointed at him, and he somehow kills them all with his PISTOL without them firing a single shot. WTF!? Then my guy somehow knocks the boss out and the game begins again... I see his body laying there, so I take a gun and shoot him in the head a few times and guess what? "GAME OVER! You've killed Ocelot and created a time paradox." At this point I wanted to smash the game...
