I think there's a part of the equation that's being left out.
Everyone knows that this man is so famous he's been driven to near insanity. Just imagine how you would be if every living person on the planet knew exactly who you were and would mob you on the street wherever you went.
Secondly, this his bizarre behavior has been a known fact for at least the last decade. Why the HELL would parents let their kids go stay at his house.
