a lot of people dont know that i own the patent on the .gif format. I'd appreciate it if you all stopped using it from now on.
seriously though, that cant be what he/she meant, or at least i hope not.
This reminds me of my friend, the business major, who works as a salesman (ofcourse, they gave him a cool sounding title so he wouldnt think of himself as just a salesman, but thats what he is). He throws around design/web terms without having the slightest clue what they really mean, but the clients seem to buy his shit. I'm told the programmers snicker behind his back every time they hear him on the phone. hes a moron, but he can sell stuff.
you've probably got a similar type of situation on your hands... maybe theyre just referring to the images youre using, rather than the format... or maybe theyre just that clueless.
