I have only be married two years, and am still dealing with this dilemma. My CG work is fine, if not better (career oriented). In my painting and expressive work, i cant draw on the old loneliness/isolation/sadness that i used to, so i am trying to reinvent my source of inspiration. This has been really fun and interesting, and i think is actually maturing my work in a good way.
What is most difficult in my opinion, is just having someone there to peek on my progress, which is a private thing to me. its a mindfuck knowing that she'll want to see the progress of the new painting. (must not work to impress, ever)
