i mean when the plates are made, is the text going to be overprinted on the black bg, or is the area of black that the text would occupy going to be knocked out? ie, for overprinting, the black plate would apprear solid, for ko, the area of text would appear as white on the black plate.
knocking out a lot of small light colored text or detail on a dark background can cause the plates to misregister, or not line up exactly, depending on the type of printing you use.
