That's funny you should ask, Kona, because last year I went--no shit--to a superbowl party thrown by a buddy of mine who is like, the only hetero choreographer in the entire world. I swear nobody paid attention to the TV until halftime and then the room was as quiet as a party of 35 drunk people could possibly be for 20 minutes while justin and janet did their clothes malfunction thing...and then we got to listen to their critiquing of the dance numbers and such. It was a pisser, I gotta tell you...but I think it actually answers your question. The rest of the world had to suffer through shitty pop music while crushing beer cans on our foreheads though.
