i think that in the case of smpl its unfair to say its lazy. just because you think the designer could have done better means nothing. it may have been a concious, creative decision to go that route.
feel free to disagree.but to be honest, if the thought of impressing people on this board messes with my process, id be a trend whore. so i respect those that dont. even if i think the design doesnt work.
whatever that means
