I've always got the same feel from his voice - that of a trained female pop star singing over the top. His voice reminds me of Joe Satriani's guitar playing ... very technical and but leaves me feeling nothing but... well he knows how to play guitar. Some people are into that and that's cool, I've just always enjoyed the raw feel I got from Rage... Cornell just voids that with his voice.
