  mrdoboline, October is a great month for visiting from a designers perspective

  By then a lot of art/design universities has what they call a "geisai" (translates somewhat into "art-festival)

  Thousands of students exhibits their work, some of the university club circles put on shows and generally there is a whole lot of that fun wackyness going on. All design/art-related

  At the late hours the universities will close but the festival usual continues outside, on the campus

  Drinking starts, and
  as clockwork, you will find people dancing intoxicated and naked around midnight. At least if you go to universities like Tamabi

  Keeps going for 3 days
