look, i don't know Prince Vince, and i wouldn't care to. but the fact that we're discussing him here is his "art" just as much as his films.
come to think of it, he's the closest thing we've got to Filippo Marinetti.
the fact that he physically threatens film critics is very entertaining to me. and besides, it gets a rise out of 99% of the population.
sitting in a room with a bunch of film critics, having them critique the blow job you're getting on-screen is obviously the point. a truely beautiful piece of conceptual art. The fact that most people totally disagree is what makes it good.
is it actually doing any harm? no, in fact it's pretty easy to argue that by bringing it into the public discourse you're actually overtly dealing with issues of "morality".
i realize that the PVN is hostile to conceptual art, but i would urge you all to consider Gallo's work/behavior as a more general project that is aimed at fucking with us.
i know , i know, "bollocks" right?
