my wife and i make homemade beer and wine.
i was getting ready to make a batch of beer and our miniature schnauzer got into the ingredients and ate about 1/4 oz. of brewer's hops (not very much).
it turns out that this is very toxic to dogs and it killed her.
not trying to be depressing, but i had no idea that this was another item under the "dogs and chocolate" heading and so i try to let others know about it so that it doesn't happen to their pups.
