(Dec 21 04, 01:00)I don't an issue with it in so far as it doubles as a passport. It holds your address and details, an iris scan and finger prints. Ok. I can just about cope with that - but it's where and when you have to produce it that bothers me. It bothers me that you will get fined for moving house and not telling anyone. It bothers me that access to "specified public services" will be witheld until you produce it.
Bascially, once you loose this freedom, you don't get it back.
