    "If you have a Mac iBook with a "dead" screen, won't hold a battery charge, cuts off for no reason, or can't even recognise the AC cord, you probably have a faulty logic board. Apple is fixing iBooks with this problem FREE until 18 December 2004 -- you only have to call them by then, not get the machine to them."

    I read this on another forum board, so that is all I know.
