Isn't this whole thread a giant paradox. I mean a TRUE lurker wouldn't be able to respond. You know ...terrified with fear of hitting that Broadcast Live button for the first time.
I remember lurking on a BBS in the eighties (krylon underground) for hours not mustering the courage to actually post to the thing when the sysop cuts in and asks me to shit or get off the pot. I jumped back, pulled the cord from wall and went and smoked a fatty. took me years to recover.
