pay a midget to hold a sign up there all day. very kewl.
haha.
for real. if you put up a sheet of plywood you are going to have to make a quick frame using 2"x4"s around the back side so it won't warp in the weather being outside. make the frame like you would making a canvas. once you've done that shoot on the paint. or, brush on the paint. an outdoor paint will do. once dry lay out the stencils and shoot the outdoor white and such.
to anchor it you'll need to drill a hole in each of the four corners (through the plywood and 2x4) and four holes in the buildings wall. use heavy duty anchors (found at your local hardware shop, you can ask someone there). then bolt the thing to the building. you pretty much have to do it in every corner cause of wind and such.
good luck. as a finishing touch a spotlight on the ground would be ace. you can also buy them at the hardware shop. to run the wire (extension cord) take a spade shovel and going a few inches into the ground push the shovel head forward making a small space for the wire to go. make a straight line in the ground, lay in the wire, then use your foot to step down the sod. done. point the light at the thingy and whalla. if you can't mount it on the ground you could do the same thing on the side of the building. there are wire stays that have a screw on either end, and an open middle where the wire can go. mount them in a straight line on the building to run the wrie along.
