  i think it would be easy to show how more usable your tempate design style would be if you comped the ideas a couple pages deep in the site.
  if they want a pretty home page, let em know you can do that but the site has to function

  just pitching home page designs isnt a good idea if the client cant imagine what you want them to see (in the way the funtionality will work). ive always been told its best to work inside out, that way you dont have so much invested in the home page design.

  anyhoo, good luck with that. your designs are not bad at all, but they look real retailish
