not at all.
you don't need to know advanced lingo to produce a good cd rom though it helps. im not a programmer, im a designer, been using director for almost five years and ca put together a decent enough job. it is a steep learning curve but if you know flash shouldn't be too tricky. without meaning to spark a vs thread, director is heavenly compared to flash. urgh.
