Design schools, well, those that I know of, in general are like cookie cutter (again, quotting iDp) manufacturers. Some turn out really good, and some are just good enough to not hit the reject box.
They teach you principles, and that "rules are meant to be broken" and the "think outside the box" bullshit lines.
They are valuable, however, they fail to teach you how to "live" in design, mearely just how to make a living desinging.
