    If you're tight on budget, get a cheap PCI graphics card, otherwise go for a decent dual-display capable graphics card.
    I bought a cheap PCI card last year bringing my old dusted 15" monitor back to its usefuless though the image quality is an abortion (so I am using a 17" and a 15" at the moment).
    But I am getting a Sony VAIO V505P notebook soon (it has dual display as well), so I will forsake the 15" when I get the notebook.

    In the end I'd suggest a new dual-display graphics card.
