my father had it done a year or 2 ago. loves it. no side effects.
doc told me if i got it, my retinas would detach and i would go blind. i have degenerative latice or something (cant remember if that is the right term) but it is basically where the lining of my eyeball gets really thin and they have to do laser surgery to scar the inner eye.
so... make sure they look around real good for this kinda problem or you could go blind cuz they have to increase teh pressure in your eye to do lasik which'll screw you up permanently.
