We fired all of our midgets.
Seriously though I know where you're coming from, I just resigned Monday for similar issues. There's not much you can do to make someone realize this issue, if they already haven't.
I had written proposals outlining how things could run more effectively and whatnot and it was always agreed that it made sense they would just never do anything about it. So I quit, and it was a tough decision, I've been with them for 6 years and it's only 7 of us, so you get close to the people you work with, anyhow...best of luck.
