    I agree with Stewart, I once tried out PNG a year or two ago, and ended up not using it because it really didn't compress as well as GIF or JPEG on the variety of images I have tried. But these days, the extra size doesn't matter as much as what is possible with the PNG format.

    Too bad Microsoft ONCE AGAIN ruins this for the web developers. Pretty much kills the possibilities of using PNG's aliasing abilities for the next half decade or so.
