  alien, it's not a bad idea to try and get that into the mainstream, although I wouldn't it put it past Real, MS, etc. There might already be an option for it, but it might depend on the format of what you are playing. The .mp3 format isn't going to be re-invented anytime soon, just look at iPods' popularity. It would be a matter of putting some type of metadata, that could be read by an application, on the .mp3 file.
