- songs don't appear as local drive because it's suppose to deter thief. The music industry would not have made deals with APPLE otherwise. If you haven't figured out how to grab those tunes yet...well...
### Of course I'd figured it out... Just think that it is a lot simpler and friendlier to be able to see the mp3 files. Can drag them out of a logical drive for my friends too. Creative does that.
-to create 'folders' I have to name them into albums or playlists (the latter of which I'd never use)
What else would you name them as?? Nothing like organizing your music by naming your folders of thousands of songs other things rather than what those songs are.
itunes attempts to organize your collection. This is a GREAT feature when you have 12,870 songs (like me).
### Personally I prefer folder dumping as all my mp3s are in folder albums that are 'bite sized'By the way you can turn this feature off.
### Any way to turn the folder feature on? hehe--To shuffle a selected album... in itunes type the albums name in the search bar- have shuffle on- then press play... easy as pie.
### Not talking about iTunes but thanks. On the ipod...
select artist/album/play
### That plays only the artists's tracks... not true random.--Music stops after one album is played? Huh?
### I always browse by album. When it finishes the last song in that album, it returns to the main menu and stops playing. This bugs me.--funny some complain the scroll wheel is TOO sensitive.
### Well I won't be sending you the 'pod so that you can try. Mine is insensitive... Apple can't please everyone can they?
