if your mac has a signal means that the computer is talking to the station, nothing more. if thats the case, you need to check your connection from modem to station. try:
1- reset your modem. unplug it and reconnect after 5 seconds, let it power up and try again.
2- check your network preferences. u on DSL? Router? Cable? give me a little more info.
3. hardwire to the modem. try to see if it a connection problem Vs a station problem.
