Sorry Rabbatski, mrdobs. My PS2 was purcgased at the start of 2002, so 2 years old. I am gonna contact a repair place today and find out if they will swap the whole disk reading unit out (drive + laser), I'll let you guys know what they say. I wonder why SA in particular seems to trigger this problem?
