Back in the day of MacFormat magazine giving away free floppies with shareware on, I sufffered from severe virus problems. Files erased, system folder was corrupted.
Finally they supplied Disinfectant (remember that?), and when I ran it, I picked up on 50 viruses on my Mac.
Thankfully, I've never seen that again. I tend to use Virex these days, as it came with my Mac account, and hasn't let me down yet...
