    This is the IRS. We know that we told you that we were going to send your $2,346. But at this time we can not send it to you due to the fact that we are busy with other things.

    This is a pretty similar to why some of these folks are upset. It has nothing to do with taking the internet or yourself too seriously. It was a chance to have your work viewed by some of the brightest and best in our industry. If someone opens a contest or asks for people to work their asses off to submit work then I'd be pissed too if they shut it down early and aren't even taking the time to fully put the word out that it has been cancelled. Why is it that you have to click the button that takes you to the submit page before you are told that its all over. I guess you don't take yourself or your work seriously enough.
