whether you like them or not you are childish to not realize that they are a great band with an outstanding record of hits and popularity... and U2 was the PERFECT band for Apple to work with becuase:
1. The are a respected band amoung all ages. They reach a larger audience that bands liek Sonic Youth with 15 albums, 1 hit, and only about 12 good songs.
2. Bono is an international celebrity
3. U2 are known for innovation- and so is Apple.
4. The ipod is far more significant than it's trend or color- this is history in the making.. a MAJOR rock band issue of all their material digitally.. this is the beginning of a new way to distripute music.
