if anyone is interested, the price for a comprehensive logo back in 91 for a small company set by the Graphic Artists Guild was 30k.
Granted logos arent worth that much anymore since we have all started selling our talents short. But in that same realm I believe the cost of a logo for a large company was half a mil.
Wout...face it yeah they probably took your initial concept but the final logo was much better executed. You did something in your logos that I think probably helped get them in the garbage before they were even turned down...the cheesy asian accents. We've all been fucked before, here's what you do...look at the things that you did wrong, vow never to do them again and move on. If it were a blatant rip I would think you have a case, but if you are thinking that flipped B's and a reference to a 2 warrants you a case for a company called Buddha to Buddha then go for it.
