Well, I don't think saying 'lost' conjures much sympathy. Obviously something personal and serious must have happened.
Lost implies something might be able to be 'found'. Like, if you lost your pet then you'd post 'lost' posters all over town.
We could support him all he wants with posting on his site, but that's not going to get her back.
And really, the wrong people are reading this. Question: Does SHE know about t his site???
