I'm pretty much at the same place and just picked up a book the other day that seems to be pretty good. It's called "Actionscripting In Flash MX" by Phillip Kerman. It's by New Riders, and all of their books seem to be pretty good. It's your standard 600pg pure reading Flash book, but it really takes you through everything so that you understand it and the writing style is interesting enough that it wont put you to sleep. I'd reccommend figuring out what you want to learn, then spend a couple hours at Borders browsing to see which book fits your style and ability.
