yea rabattski the backwardness was funny tho, can you imagine saying to the (female) design head of one of the largest media organisations in the world that women aren't committed enough to get to the top? you just wanted to pat him on the head and say bless you, only i've worked in agencies before where that unspoken attitude is very much a reality and it's sad that it's still so pervasive in the top agencies.
the funniest bit was when he said "if there's one piece of advice you should take away from today, it's NEVER SPEAK TO THE USER", which just caused the whole room to burst out laughing as our department is called the User Experience Design group.
