I've been trying to enjoy this story for the STORY I'm sure it is and nothing else, but something just ruined it for me.
If the film had been heated to the point that it was melting, the emulsion and other chemicals on the film's surface would be FUBAR. The picture he uses of the "melted negatives" is obviously that... He melted existing negatives.
Like I said, I wanted to enjoy the story, but he didn't do enough research. Shall I mention this line:
'...I'd been told by a friend that if the cursor ever moved by itself and there was a 'whirring' from the hard-drive, they were the sure signs that indicated someone was hacking into my computer.'
He's a really bad writer. That's all.
And I'm sure it's not for the damned 'The Core' movie.
