    btw nick,

if you care for good' old atlantic/meditteranean wines and if you ever come across portuguese wine go for anything that's "Palmela" red wine (a region south of Lisbon) that has a strong oak wooden flavour --any good dram spends at least 2 yrs in wooden barrels-- and gets you longing for spicy meals and the most clumsy beings of the female genre; "Palmela" white wine (a much shorten version of LSD :P) or, for a strong flavoured wine that gets you singing all night like an upgraded castratii, try some expensive white Douro (the same region as Oporto wine) for which, to my knowledge, there are no secondary effects except some whisical recall of a wealthy kingdom and a harem (!) the night before :P
