I get that odd feeling too. There are plenty of worthy, generous outfits that could use a makeover. However, if they think you are insulting there present work, you run the risk of striking out.
It's all in how you approach them. You have to complement their current status and say they can reach and appeal to more if they get a facelift. It's all about the audience.
