  Uh no. Advanced Batch Converter is a very small, very quick little application that loads quickly and does it's job quickly.
  It converts between 2 dozen graphic file formats with a lot of specialized options for each. IT can even crop, resize, add text, change color levels, flip/rotate, rename, and more. And this is all in batch mode, so it applies en masse to as many files as you can add.

  There's also a "single" editing mode good for switching formats for one file. I use it a ton because it doesn't take as much memory as PS or as much time to load.
