i got a couple of very talented starving artist friends. they have gallery showings and sell quite a bit of paintins. their stuff even tours in other countries, and they're still starving. and i mean starving, not just like not having the latest toys or shit like that.
i have nothing but admiration for them. seriously. it takes a lot of balls to make a conscious decision to pursue something that you know will give you a small shot at making a financially stable living...
