Middle Eastern's get pissed off at their fate following the collapse of Ottoman Empire and blame their loss of faith. Bunch become all hardcore and radicalised and fanatical and shit
US takes these fanatics and gets them to fight its proxy wars against Communism. Therefore turning them into warriors and fighters
Fanatics realise they are stooges whose countries continue to get fucked over and turn against the US and the West
US declares war on terror and starts giving all this crap on "clash of civilisation" "freedom and enlightenment" etc... Makes everyone hate Muslims, especially in Europe who are already neurotic about the wave of immigrants flooding in
Fanatics seize on this to precipitate their global war against the west.
The west go paranoid and feel like they need to defend their culture against the "barbarians" of the middle east. Think it's about time the Muslims were told "you guys are fucked up, your religion is fucked up, and we're gonna write books and make films about how and why you are fucked up... in fact, we're gonna flood the media with this shit"
Muslims start feeling insecure and scared. Start to actually feel under attack, and think the fanatics have a point
White people start making films about muslims. Muslims all like "there! you see! they're obsessed with us! Why are THEY making films about US?? What if WE made a film about Jews, who also have orthodox elements, and in fact have a patriachal/women as second class citizens type society which is actually spelt out in their holy texts?"
