Anyone seen that thing on the Swiss locking up asylum seekers in desolate military bunkers? The plan is to make it so unappealing to want to claim asylum, that no one will. Thats the problem, it's a wider issue of asylum and immigration from poor countries - that isn't at all about religion - which causes panick in Europe. But of course you got the whole war on Al Qaeda shit going on, so it's so much easier conflating all these into one big "say no to Islam" campaign.
The fear machine in effect. Such a cliche, but so fucking true.
