Look at the book "LOGO R.I.P" you can find it at ywft or amazon.
Great examples of good logos gone bad.... UPS or BurgerKing would be examples of this.
For bad logos gone good, look at Fedral Express (FedEx), Olivetti, or even the US National Parks Service (Vingelli).
