Soler, couple of comments..
1) your navigation/layout disapears/breaks apart once i click an item.. and from there im only left with my back button to see more work. being able to click through your stuff would be nice...all you need is to add a header & prev/next buttons to the page where the work is displayed.
2) is the texture in the bg really necessary? it takes the focus away from your work imo..
the size the work is displayed at does it justice though, and i think in that respect its effective
