nope. I have three desktops (2 macs, 1 PC.. all of which have cables) and 2 laptops (one PC, one Mac) wirelessly.
Also have 2 printers hooked up wirelessly and a security camera :)Got the D-link 514 router. It works, but I've considered getting a complete Airport system with the extreme station and everything.
