seriously, working for 'the man' can suk, but like del_razor said at least its a job. But really think for a moment,..
what else would you rather be doing with your self?
Would a different job be the answer?
I had it made at one time working for a husband+wife team, sure it suked but it paid the bills. The fighting was real bad, (bad enough that they in turn divorced!) and I eventually left for reasons of my own, But it was steady work and pay.
All you can do fifty50 my brother is your best work. Day in and day out, and before you know it those days on the second floor of the casa will be a thing of the past.
