I love my job now. But, i hated working for a husband and wife. Both of them were a few cards short of a deck.
The wife instigated drama with every breath that came out of her body and both of them are incredible liars.
Clients hate them now. Some big clients even dropped them like a ton of bricks. It’s all over the place that i don’t even have to say anything. Once in a while I’ll be at a party with former or current clients of theirs and they'll bitch and complain to me because they know i used to work there. I just shrug and say *i dunno*. There’s no need to even shit talk cos they're doing a good job fucking themselves on their own.
The Cleo’s this year are going to be jokes for sure. 2005 will be an interesting year as well. It’s good to know that talent and karma really do come around in the end and the good people eventually get what’s coming... and the assholes are SOL. ego and games only get you so far.
A bunch of old workmates talked a lot of shit and played the game as well. I'm not salty about it. but, as far as I can help it they'll never work with me again. It certainly limits their options, not mine. Ah... those are the breaks.
I don’t know why people think they can get away with that kinda scmuckery in this industry. It wouldn’t be tolerated in any other industry. Common sense and business etiquette are lacking in web design and entertainment for sure. Oh well.
