I hate my job too....
I work for a company that their idea of "design" is how big you make the word SALE!
Every time I ask to purchase a stock photo or want to hire a professional photographer they ask..." Don't we have a digital camera?"
The icing on the cake was last week when a project HAD to go out and I worked my ass off and stayed late to finish and upload the project to our printer.
First thing the next day the PM had a change to the file the he had approved.
Now I know things change and changes have to be done but the thing that pissed me off is this. He emailed the changes to me at 9 a.m. And at 9:15 he called to see "how's it going". At 9:30 he called again to see "where I'm at". That's when I asked him if he wanted to do the changes himself! It was a change to a 250MB psd file.
The guy hung up the phone and charged across the office at me. I thought I was going to have to deck him! He yelled at me and accused me of "dragging my feet" and that the deadline was last night!
I then yelled back that he was the one that made changes after it was approved and that I will be so glad when I don't have to put with his shit!
( I recently passed up a promotion to make a lateral move so I wouldn't have to work with him again.)Thanks for letting me vent!
