pancakeweb, Democrats have been a leading proponent of brining back the draft because of the Neo-con world police shit.
When people's son's and daughters start dying, they care about issues. Maybe they'd realize how baseless and futile invading Iraq is and object to the war more. Our population is too apathetic to our meddling because of a paid volunteer army. Even an old hippy art teacher of mine who faught against the draft regrets it now.
