Greenspan: Tax cuts can be a 'factor' in growth
Reuters, 02.25.04, 11:18 AM ETWASHINGTON, Feb 25 (Reuters) - Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan on Wednesday said tax cuts can help boost economic growth, which in turn can boost revenue flows to government coffers.
"I believe that economic growth, obviously, is the key to revenue for government and carefully crafted tax cuts are one factor involved in encouraging such growth," Greenspan said in an appearance before the House of Representatives Budget Committee.

The tax cuts haven't helped this country one bit. None of Bush's "economic stimulous" has affected the economy for the better. There's a reason Greenspan spoke out against it, and is warning Bush about the deficit.
