  *National Gallery
  *Cork Street (lots of tiny galleries)
  *Any of the stations on the Jubillee Line tube extension
  *Photographers Gallery

  *Museum of Moving Image

  Also, depending on when u are going check out if any of the art colleges (Chelsea, RCA etc) have any MA shows going on...you often see some pretty inspirational stuff going on (and its free!).
